Check out this story from one of our members: A drug company used to provide blankets and gloves for a few patients who used its stunningly expensive chemotherapy agent. But the medical school passed a ridiculous "no gifts" rule and the doctor can no longer accept the free blankets. Outrageously, blankets and gloves must now be purchased though the hospital's own funds.
